What/Who is Marmelada?
Marmelada is a really cool greek word for “Jam”.
It’s me! Jamir Hernandez (Jam). A passionate designer based in the Philippines helping businesses globally.
With my passion in designing and my vision on how it can change the future of businesses, I grew obsessed with the thought that my works and actions would be of great impact to those who are serious in having design as part of their business. Not only will it take them through the next milestone in their business ventures, it will also be a massive part of how they can connect with their audience.
That impact is what drives me to provide you what you need... and more.
[Our Method]
Providing only what you need... and more.
Marmelada is a design essentialist. Yes, that’s a thing... However, I took it from a book by Greg Mckeown. Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less. The book is not about design at all (tho the book is beautifully designed...), it’s generally about focusing on what truly matters. This resonates well with our approach in design.
Minimalism is somewhat a misstatement of who we are and what we portray. We don’t just take away elements to ‘minimize’ the canvas without purpose. Instead, we highlight what truly matters by carefully removing what matters less. This however is not a strict rule we follow, but rather a thoughtful decision in every part of our process.
